Cleaning Company of Northern Kentucky Top Cleaning Tips!

#1: Cleaning your granite counter tops: Use a small amount of Dawn dish washing soap in a squirt bottle of water. Using Dawn and water will give you amazing cleaning and disinfecting power, without damaging your beautiful counter tops.

#2: Always use a disinfectant cleaner on "points of contact".  Points of contact are places that are touched frequently, such as door and appliance handles, phones, remote controls, computer accessories and light switches.  It's best to let the disinfectant cleaner sit on points of contact for 10 minutes before wiping, but on electronic items that's not always possible.  Using disinfectant cleaner on a cloth will also do the trick!

#3: For cleaning hard wood floors use a cap full of vinegar added to a spray bottle of water, spray and mop. We also like to add a drop or two of essential lemon or lavender oil to the mixture.

#4: The best choice for dusting is microfiber cloths because they are electrostatic charged which means they find and trap dust. Don't waste your time pushing dust around with other cloths!

#5: Do you ever notice your home having a particular scent to it and your not sure how to eliminate it? There is a possibility its your carpets acting as a sponge and soaking up odor, dust and dead skin cells.  Sprinkle baking soda all over your carpet, let it sit for 30 minutes, then vacuum it up for fresh, deodorized carpets.

#6: Here's a quick trick to clean your stinky garbage disposal.  Toss a handful of ice cubes, lemon peel and some salt into your disposal and turn it on.  It's that easy! The ice and salt will sharpen the blade and clean away residue while the lemon leaves a nice scent.

#7 Steam clean your microwave by taking a cleaning cloth soaking it with water and placing in the microwave on the plate. Turn the microwave on for 2 minutes to allow the steam to remove all buildup. Allow the microwave to cool before wiping.
